VEYLUME account and service information.
Account information
When you register, VEYLUME stores your name, email address, password hash, and account creation time in its configured Neon PostgreSQL database. Passwords are stored as password hashes, not as plain text. Registration and password recovery codes are sent by the configured Brevo transactional email account and expire after 10 minutes.
AI requests and reference images
AI chat messages and reference images may be sent to the AI provider configured by the site operator to produce a response. Reference-image attachments require a logged-in account. Do not upload confidential or sensitive information unless you understand and accept the applicable provider terms.
Profile pictures and decorations
When Cloudinary is configured, uploaded profile pictures are stored by Cloudinary. The owner account may also upload a custom profile banner. Regular members can change their username, display name, bio and profile picture; owner-only badges, rings, banner effects and animated name styles are restricted server-side to the email configured in VEYLUME_OWNER_EMAIL.
Service providers and retention
The site uses its configured hosting provider, Neon database, Brevo email service, Cloudinary for profile images when enabled, and the selected AI providers. Account records remain in the database until the operator removes them. Temporary OTP records are deleted after successful verification or when replaced or expired during use. Uploaded images may remain in Cloudinary until removed by the site operator.
